The Acta Historica Tallinnensia, Vol. 28, No. 2, “Recognition: de facto and de jure” (2022), guest co-edited by James Montgomery Baxenfield (Tallinn University) and Kevin Rändi (Tallinn University) has been published. “Recognition: de facto and de jure” marks the centenary of the de jure recognition of the governments of the Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian republics by the United States of America. The special issue features articles by Baxenfield and Rändi; Heidi Rifk (Tallinn University); Eero Medijainen (University of Tartu); Ēriks Jēkabsons (University of Latvia); Sandra Grigaravičiūtė (Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania); and, Eva Piirimäe (University of Tartu).
